Introduction

We started in 1987 from the proverbial garden shed. Mrs Sherlock senior would take the parcels up to the village post office in a wheel barrow, while James went back to college. A primitive catalogue was produced on the vicar’s photocopier.

What has changed in twenty four years? Both the shed and the paper catalogue are bigger, but the basic principles remain the same; the right parts at a fair price, speedily delivered. What the customers wanted all those years ago is still the same today, and we continue to work as hard as ever to give a first class parts service.

Spares

Second hand spares remain at the core of the business. In fact we dismantle more BMW motorcycles now than ever, with models from the seventies right up to the latest models. Why buy used parts? Surely the parts are already half worn out? Au contraire. Many of the machines that we dismantle have done very few miles. Our record to date is three miles only.
